Herb has been with Van Rooy Properties since March of 2006, having 28 years in maintenance experience, 5 years as a Property Manager, 6 years as the Van Rooy’s Physical Compliance Director (overseeing Van Rooy’s REAC inspections and employee safety program) and 3 years as a HUD REAC inspection contractor. He began his career with us as a Maintenance Technician, and currently oversees our Indianapolis east portfolio. As a Regional Manager he has been diligently cultivating our business interests since his first property came online in June of 2022. He has a variety of hands-on management experience with CAMT, REAC, conventional, commercial, and fee managed projects, as well as short- and long-term rehabs.
Herb is a NAA Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician and has served on various committees for his local NAA affiliate in Indianapolis, IN for several years during his career.
