Our premier development team has extensive experience in the development of suburban apartment complexes, the historic renovation of urban mid-rise buildings, the adaptive reuse of historic schools and warehouses, the development of retail and office space, and the repositioning of underperforming assets.
RESTORATION
Restoration services from Van Rooy provide rapid response for residential, commercial, multi-family, and insurance needs. Our full-service offerings include fire and smoke restoration, water extraction, drying, and general contracting.
COMPANY HISTORY
Founded by Carl Van Rooy in Madison, Wisconsin in 1977, the business expanded to the Indianapolis area in 1982 and became known as Van Rooy Properties. Today, Van Rooy Properties operates over 11,000 units throughout the Midwest. In 1999, Adam Van Rooy, Carl’s son, began his career at Van Rooy after graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington. In April of 2006, Adam began Van Rooy Restoration specializing in insurance restoration and renovation, and in June of that year, Adam took on the role of President. Under his leadership at Van Rooy, the company has grown by 40 percent, including expanding into five more states.
